Week in Review

As I’m getting this post together, I feel as if I’m sitting still for longest consecutive amount of time since Monday. Classes ended Tuesday, followed by a busy day on Wednesday with senior project observations in the morning and prom that evening. The latter was definitely and “experience,” but I’m not a late-night person so I was more than happy to be home by 11:00! That didn’t stop me from another adventure on Thursday night, when a friend and I ventured into the city for a movie premiere. All in all, it’s been a crazy (wonderful!) few days, and I’m more than happy to have a few quiet hours.

What was your week like?

Not to toot my own horn, but I have some really cool friends. Case in point is Charlotte, who is currently launching her won novelty accessories business. Check out her (fabulous) website/blog here!

Forget Gov Ball- I wish I was heading to one of these wellness retreats this summer.

You can always count on Vogue to create killer YouTube content. Right now I’m loving Taylor Swift’s “73 Questions” segment and Lena Dunham’s attempt at meditation.

Now that some of my favorite shows are on hiatus, there’s a podcast-sized hole in my life. Hopefully some of StyleCaster’s recs will tide me over!

These cookies were a hit in my house this past week.

Some of my favorite jeans are Adriano Goldschmied, so I cannot wait to see what his daughter, Marta, does with her up-and-coming label Made Gold.

Last night, the aforementioned Charlotte and I journeyed to the city for the world premiere of Dream, Girl, a documentary about female entrepreneurs. It was an amazing night, and we were so lucky to hear co-producers Erin and Komal do a Q&A after the movie, as well as chat with a few of the movie’s “stars” before walk/running (sorry, Char ;)) to the train. I can’t wait for more people to see this film! Find a screening near you here.

Speaking of #bossladies, one of my favorite blogs, Glitter Guide, turns five this weekend. Here, founder Taylor Sterling shares ten things she’s learned since launching her business.

xx
