Painted Ladies

Even though I generally favor a “less-is-more” aesthetic, I’m still a sucker for some serious color. This editorial from Marie Claire‘s May issue is a perfect example of the kind of wild color story that gets my heart beating faster. Shot in collaboration with Vicky Steckel and Ward Stegerhoek’s BOSCAR Project, I love how the images fuse paint and fashion photography to celebrate the power and grace of the female body. If this shoot isn’t fashion-as-art, I don’t know what is.
