What I Read This Week

Friday, is that you? After a long week at school, I’m definitely ready for a few days off. With that said, I’m going to keep things short and sweet here today but I just wanted to wish you all a beautiful Mother’s Day weekend!

As always, here’s what got me thinking this week:

We all know that Anna Wintour is a bona fide fashion icon, but did you know she’e actually hilariously funny as well? I was in stitches after watched this segment she did with Seth Meyers. Do I see a Saturday Night Live appearance in the future…?

Picture this: you’re in your early thirties, with a steady career and an apartment in the city. Then, you pack it all (well, actually, none of it) up and move to an island where you share your bathroom with wildlife. Sounds made up, right? Well, that’s exactly what this woman did, and she makes it sound pretty cool.

We’ve been discussing Proust’s iconic ode to the madeleine in school lately…if you’re at all familiar with the passage, you’ll find this old NPR clip pretty interesting.

Can’t squeeze in a workout class? According to the Man Repeller, that is absolutely no excuse not to get those squats in.

Forget Full House, after reading this interview

, I’m officially obsessed with Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen’s work at The Row. (I know, so, so late in the game. But better late then never right?).
