What I Read This Week

It’s Friday, Friday…

Tired song lyrics aside, I’m so excited that the weekend is finally here. Even though I had a short week at school, each day just seemed longer than the one before. Things are little crazy now that we’re in the home stretch to the end of the year, and everyone’s getting antsy. Hopefully that extra day off will do us all good, though, and we’ll return on Monday refreshed and ready to hit the ground running.

Hey, I can dream, can’t I?

As for this week’s links, check them out below:

A guest post on The College Prep tells you how to turn your dreams of being a unicorn into a reality.

Forget FOMO. The Cut brings you up to date on #FOGO.

Read this former designer’s personal manifesto for the fashion industry.

This author’s article on the four-letter word we should all quit using (hint: it’s not what you think) was so inspiring, I’ve taken up her challenge myself.

How would you feel if a store offered women a 24% discount because it’s “only fair”? Well, that’s the reality at this Chicago boutique.

Have a great weekend!
