Made My Week #4

Happy Halloween! Can you believe it is already October 31st? I certainly can’t. It seems as if this school year is just flying by! I can’t complain, because to me Halloween means one thing: the official kickoff of the holiday season. This is my favorite time of year, and I plan to seriously embrace. Countdown to Christmas, here I come!

::one:: I was in the mood for something autumnal this weekend, and decided it was the perfect time to whip up this Pumpkin Almond Butter Oat Bar recipe from a favorite food blogger of mine, The Balanced Blonde. The spiciness of the pumpkin and smoky almond butter mingled perfectly, and they were the most delicious fall treat! Even the fact that it was pouching seventy degrees outside couldn’t kill the vibe.

::three:: Yesterday I got to go on a class trip to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. Growing up less than an hour from the city, I’ve been fortunate enough to have visited the museum numerous times over the years. In all those visits, however, I had never gotten myself up to the rooftop garden, which was installed a few years ago. This time around I got to stop in, and it was by far the highlight of the entire day. The views of the cityscape are awe-inspiring, and I cannot wait to go back!

I hope you all have a great Halloween weekend, and be sure to check on Monday back for most fashion and lifestyle prettiness here on A Style Study!

xx
