Boy, has it been a long week. It was spirit week at my school and that means one thing: total. chaos. School spirit is fun and all, but let’s just say I’m more than ready for things to get back to normal.
To close out this week, a few things that made me smile the past few days…
::one:: this delicious cauliflower “rice” recipe I whipped up on Monday (recipe post coming soon!). Finding healthy alternatives to my favorite comfort food is always an adventure that could go either way. This time around, I succeeded in finding a meal that will definitely become a staple in our house!
::two:: the adorable “TOAST” item holder my mom bought for our counter. I mean, can you say aww worthy?!
::three:: getting to dive into Glamour‘s November issue. I have always admired the publication for its consistently featuring women who are not just fashionable, but also independent and successful in their own right. Every time I pick this magazine up, I learn something! This issue was especially well-done, with features including profiles on the female minds behind Silicon Valley, career advice from Tory Burch, and a compelling interview with the ever-poignant Jessica Chastain. Oh, yeah, and the clothes weren’t too bad, either… 😉
What were some things that made you happy this week? I hope you all have amazing weekends! We’ll be back at it here on A Style Study come Monday…
