Several months ago, I started practicing yoga. And although I’ll admit my practice is sporadic, normally limited to nights with a light homework load or weekends, I’ve come to really enjoy it. The only problem? It’s hard to carve out the time to swing by a yoga class, especially during my fall sports’ season. So, in order to continue the workout I had come to love so much, I had to a “no excuses” approach. One way or the other, I was going to find a way to be able practice yoga whenever some time freed up. A chance search in the App Store lead me to the solution to problem: the Yoga Studio app.
To say that Yoga Studio is a favorite of mine would probably be an understatement. It’s the ultimate workout-whenever-whereever app. Downloading it (for $3.99) gives you unlimited access to over thirty individual classes using a virtual instructor. There is a plethora of classes available, ranging from advanced to beginner, from sun salutations to meditations. My personal favorite? The thirty-minute beginner flexibility. Talk about loosening up.
And that’s not even all of it. The app also allows you create custom classes by selecting a sequence of poses, and create your own “yoga schedule” (perfect for all the planners out there). In short, Yoga Studio makes getting your workout in ten times easier, with the added features simply a fun bonus!
I hope that this post inspires some of you to download Yoga Studio. It has truly changed my view on exercise, taking it from something stressful and time-consuming into a flexible and overall more enjoyable experience. In fact, I think I might just dive into a class right about now…
