My Skincare Must-Haves

For today’s post, I though I’d branch into new territory and share my skincare must-haves! I’m pretty diligent about my routine, as I’ve struggled with my skin in the past. That certainly wasn’t fun, but what good did come out of it was that I discovered some great products that are now in constant rotation on my bathroom counter. Below I’ll give you a peek at the three I could not live without:

::one:: Cetaphil Gentle Skin Facial Cleanser. I honestly don’t know what I did before I started using Cetaphil. I’ve mentioned before that I über-sensitive skin, so most cleansers are just too harsh and chemically for me. Cetaphil is perfect, as it’s free of fragrance and any funky ingredients. I love that it not only cleans, but also heals my skin. I use the Gentle Skin version, but have heard that the regular Daily Facial Cleanser, as well as the moisturizers, are wonderful as well!

::two:: CeraVe PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion. This product literally saved me last winter. We had a bit of a, ahem, cold snap where I live, and my skin was getting very dry and irritated. Thankfully, I came across CeraVe’s PM Facial Moisturizing Lotion. I started applying it every morning, and it worked wonders! Just a quick side note: If you have sensitive skin like me, you might want to avoid daytime facial moisturizers, as they can have irritating SPF in them. I’ve found that the SPF-less nighttime versions work just as well and won’t bother your skin!

::three:: Beautycounter Protect Broad Spectrum Sunscreen. I’ve talked about Beautycounter products on the blog before, but I realized that I have yet to talk about their amazing facial sunscreen. For years I struggled to find the right SPF, but hadn’t had any luck until this summer I started using Beautycounter’s! It’s a little pricey, but definitely a worthy investment. It evaporates almost immediately, doesn’t sweat off, and best of feels great!

::four:: Everyone for Every Face Remove Makeup Removing Towelettes. These wipes are latest addition to my beauty repertoire, and boy am I glad to have them! Unlike a lot of makeup removers, these leave your face feeling hydrated and refreshed and don’t leave behind that chemically feeling. Especially now that tennis season is in full swing (see what I did there?), these towelettes are on regular rotation, and it looks like they’ll stay that way.

And now I’d like to now: What are your skincare must-haves? Got any super-secret miracle products up your sleeve? Be sure to share below!
